Class of 2014

To My Classmates;

I have been very encouraged to see such a diverse group of classmates.  Each of us arrived at this very point in our lives from different race, ethnicity, economic and religious backgrounds.  Yet no matter the differences, we are connected by common goals.  We desire to graduate in 2014 and become the very best healthcare professionals we can be.  Would you agree?  The Class President plays an instrumental role in ensuring we are afforded every opportunity to achieve our goals.  I humbly accept your nomination for Class President because I am confident I possess the skills, experience and ability to fulfill the duties of the office.  Thank you for your confidence and your vote.

If elected, as our Class President I submit to you the following Oath:

I PROMISE: to uphold the duties of the office with vigor, diplomacy and honor.

I PROMISE: to effectively communicate and represent your opinions, cares and concerns to the faculty and staff without personal opinion or influence.

I PROMISE: to maintain a vision and direction for our class.

I PROMISE: to make every reasonable effort to maintain the cohesiveness amongst the members of our class.

I PROMISE: to make every reasonable effort to maintain the support amongst the members of our class.

I PROMISE: to ensure every University resource you are due is received.

I PROMISE: to always be easily accessible and approachable in service to our class.
